Mad Season - Il Ritorno


Una delle perle piu' belle del periodo grunge fu il disco dei Mad Season. La band era formata da Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees), Layne Staley (Alice In Chains) e John Baker Saunders (Walkabouts), e Above fu il loro splendindo parto. Essendo una band nata in una comunita' di recupero dalla droga la meta' ci ha lasciato prima del tempo (Layne - 2002 - e Saunders - 1999) ma in previsione della ristampa in versione Deluxe McCready ha voluto mettere mano a nastri demo e canzoni incompiute da inserire come bonus track della ristampa.

McCready si e' trovato quindi a rimettere in piedi il "gruppo" chiamando Mark Lanegan a sostituire Layne nei brani incompleti. Lanegan, ai tempi del disco, fu ospite in un paio di brani.
