Anni fa il numero di catalogo 01 della nascente etichetta Meteorcity era una seminale compilation intitolata Welcome To Meteorcity. Titolo che ammiccava ai Kyuss, cosi' come la maggior parte delle band contenute all'interno. Band come Fatso Jetson, Atomic Bitchwax, Demoncleaner, Goatsnake, Lowrider,Roadsaw, sHeavy, Celestial Season, Dozer e Natas. All'epoca totalmente sconosciute ai piu'.

Quest'anno Meteorcity (che da quegli esordi ha cambiato padrone) ha pubblicato Welcome Back To Meteorcity, per suggellare la nuova direzione ma soprattutto per far capire che lo stoner oggi e' piu' vivo che mai.

Band come Snail, Black Pyramid, Farflung, Leeches Of Lore, Egypt, Sardonis, New Keepers Of The Water Towers rappresentano le nuove leve dell'heavy psych.
