Grant McClennan è morto sabato 6 Maggio durante il sonno, nella sua casa a Brisbane, in Australia. Aveva 48, la causa del decesso non è ancora stata rivelata.

L'ultimo disco della band fu "The Friends of Rachel Worth", del 2000, che vedeva le Sleater Kinney tra gli ospiti.
