Solomon Burke - Morto Il Re Del Rock And Soul


Muore a 70 anni il leggendario "King of Rock 'N Soul". Doveva esibirsi il 12 Ottobre ad Amsterdam ma l'artista e' deceduto oggi all'aereoporto di Shiphol.

Viene ricordato per "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" resa celebre dai Blues Brothers. La sua discografia parte dal 1960, anno della sua firma per la Atlantic e si sviluppa per quarant'anni con le piu' svariate collaborazioni. Da ricordare il disco "Don't Give Up On Me" uscito per la Fat Possum / Anti e l'ultimo a dare ampia visibilita' all'artista, anche al di fuori dei circuiti soul.
