Se siete orfani di Stereolab e Broadcast è bene che puntiate le vostre orecchie sui londinesi d'adozione Vanishing Twin. Tutto il loro immaginario è farcito di retro-pop nelle sue infinite sfumature. Dal motorik dei Can ("Tub Erupt") a infiltrazioni library degne di Umiliani ("In Cucina") o alle colonne sonore lounge di Morricone ("Phase One Million") fino agli svarioni jazz psichedelici ("Zuum / The Organism"). Tutto avvolto in una atmosfera colorata acidissima che prende strade inaspettate e piacevoli. "Ooki Gekkou" dopo un paio di ascolti vi rimarrà in testa sebbene non vi sarà chiaro perchè: probabilmente ha bruciato i neuroni giusti.

Tra gli ospiti troviamo l'ex Stereolab Laetitia Sadier che presta la chitarra in "Wider Than Itself".
