Meravigliosa sorpresa in casa Black Candy. I Three In One Gentleman Suit dopo l'esordio per Fooltribe confezionano questo "Some New Strategies" e stupiscono.

Immaginatevi l'intensità emotiva dei primi Karate e del primo emo di band come Mineral, Far e Sunny Day Real Estate. Aggiungete arpeggi e riff di scuola math con un stile tipicamente noise-postrock (quindi Shellac e Don Caballero). Dopo di che farcite con il gusto sopraffino del trio e avrete questo disco. Che è una miniera di intuizioni e una raccolta di 11 piccoli capolavori sprecati nell'essere dati in pasto solo agli indie-rocker italiani.

Consigliamo quindi ai Three One In Gentleman Suit di andare a vivere a Chicago e spacciarsi per americani. Quindi chiamare Steve Albini, prenotare tre giorni di registrazione da lui, portare il master alla Touch&Go e partire per un tour mondiale. Magari gli fanno persino organizzare un giorno del festival All Tomorrow's Parties.
