Dietro al nome Nivhek si cela Liz Harris, aka Grouper, che ha usato questo pseudomino per sonorizzare le installazioni dell'artista visuale Marcel Weber. "After Its Own Death/Walking in a Spiral Towards the House" è un album composto da due parti, minimali e ambientali che se danno il meglio associate alle opere di Marcel hanno il loro senso anche da sole, ascoltate in casa.

Si tratta di lunghe composizioni costituite da pochi elementi, ipnotici e decisamente lo-fi (pedali scassati, campane, vibrafono), praticamente senza voce e senza grandi cambiamenti di atmosfera.

Benchè alcuni potranno trovarlo interessante consigliamo "After Its Own Death/Walking in a Spiral Towards the House" ai fan più hardcore di Liz.
