"Ordinary Heroes" è senza dubbio uno dei migliori album di pop-trasversale usciti quest'anno. Se non il migliore. Il duo italo-australiano ci propongono un nuovo singolo (dopo lo splendido "Carry On") tratto dal loro secondo disco.

Il brano trainante, "Take Me Home" è un'indolente canzone notturna ("I Wanna Sleep Now, Take Me Home"), cantata in "punta di voce" con ospite il violino di Roberta Castoldi.

Il secondo "Ginestre", la cui versione originale è contenuta nel debut del 2001, vede la presenza di Cristina Donà alla voce. Un bel mix tra dEUS e Massive Attack.

Il terzo e ultimo brano è "Chocolate For The Prize" potente e disturbata, elettronica ma rock.

In sostanza un bel modo per avvicinarsi ai Breakfast, sicuramente il più illuminato gruppo pop d'Italia. Ma sarebbe ancora più giusto approcciarsi a loro con l'album "Ordinary Heroes".
