La Turchia è ricca di perle musicali fin dagli anni 70 in cui il cosidetto Anatolia Rock divertiva i giovani con riff hard e assoli lisergici. The Ringo Jets vengono da Instanbul ma annoverano fra le proprie influenze Howlin’ Wolf, Bo Diddley, The Who, The Sonics, The Kinks, The Stooges, MC5, Black Flag, SS Decontrol, The Gories. Hanno quindi un sound decisamente americano sebbene insaporito leggermente con aromi esotici. L'esordio omonimo è stato registrato in Italia alle Officine Meccaniche da Tommaso Colliva dei Calibro 35 con la collaborazione di quel piccolo genio di Enrico Gabrielli.

La band ha tiro, energia e convinzione, una gran carica e buone canzoni, registrate divinamente che non guasta. Tutti e tre i musicisti (batteria e due chitarre) cantano. Cosa volete di più?
